The Letter Carriers’ Union and the UFCW partner for the biggest single-day food drive in the country, Stamp Out Hunger. Traditionally, letter carriers would pick up food you leave out on Food Drive day, but, due to the pandemic, supporters are urged to give donations to their local food bank. Education Scholarship Application Deadline
UFCW Local 1059 has sixteen $1,500 scholarships and five $400 “Textbook” scholarships awarded to randomly selected applicants each year. Scholarship winners can be Local 1059 members or children of members. Visit www.ufcw1059.org/scholarship for full rules and application instructions.
