The Letter Carriers’ Union and the UFCW partner for the biggest single-day food drive in the country, Stamp Out Hunger. Traditionally, letter carriers would pick up food you leave out on Food Drive day, but, due to the pandemic, supporters are urged to give donations to their local food bank. UFCW Local 1059 is committed to a world without cancer. Members can support the important work of Susan G. Komen by participating in the Columbus Race for the Cure 5K run/walk.
UFCW Local 1059 will cover registration costs for members wishing to participate in the event and 50% of registration costs for family members joining you for the event. IN ORDER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS REGISTRATION DISCOUNT, REGISTRATION FORMS MUST BE TURNED IN TO UFCW LOCAL 1059 BY APRIL 7, 2025. Registration forms submitted directly to Susan G. Komen will not receive the UFCW 1059 discount.
After registration, we’ll be in contact with you in the days leading up to the event with information about our team photo that morning and your Race for the Cure t-shirt.
