Education Scholarship Application Deadline

UFCW Local 1059 has sixteen $1,500 scholarships and five $400 "Textbook" scholarships awarded to randomly selected applicants each year. Scholarship winners can be Local 1059 members or children of members. Visit www.ufcw1059.org/scholarship for full rules and application instructions.

Each year, the UFCW Charity Foundation awards several scholarships of up to $12,000 each to UFCW members or their unmarried dependents under the age of 20. Applicants must have been active since January 1, 2025. Applicants must be members or a members' unmarried dependent under the age of 20. Apply online.

Ray Collier was a UFCW Local 1059 Union Representative devoted the membership and his work with the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU). In his memory, UFCW Local 1059 has established a $1,500 scholarship to one Local 1059 member each year who embodies Ray's commitment to making this world better.
